I previously had another indoor grill that I had to throw away, so I ordered this one to replace it. I love this grill/griddle. I have done steaks on it, they came out just perfect and it was so easy to clean. If you're looking for a nice product that works wonderful you will love this. Dual controls allows you to use one or both sides, and you can set the temperature to what you need.My wife and recently downsized to a smaller house. This machine fit perfectly into our "mini-kitchen". It cooks everything steaks, sausages, pancakes veggies to perfection. It comes with a temperature chart for the different foods you want to cook. When set right it cooks food and does not smoke or burn. The old "hot plate" burned and smoked and set off fire alarms. After two uses the temperature control numbers identifying the degree settings began coming off. Easy to clean!GoodI love this product, the only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the length of the power cord. I have to move things around to find a place I can use this where it can reach an outlet. Other than that, I love it. It cooks evenly and being able to remove the plates to wash makes all the difference.Do not like that the painted temperatures on the knobs washed off, you leaving you now having to guess your cooking temps. We have had great experiences with Hamilton Beach, so that and the grill/griddle versatility made this the winner when we needed a griddle. The temperature control is accurate, and it’s SO handy being able to have different things going on each side. The grease catcher is deep for large portions of bacon or meat frying/grilling.My only, only, only wishes are these: I wish there was a higher lip around the cooking surface on each grill/griddle; it’s very easy to scoop something off the side while trying to scoop it on your spatula. I also wish the cooking tiles popped in and off with a little less force and finagling - I worry the edges will wear quickly. The tab edges are also potential hand or knuckle scrapers, so be careful around those!I bought the Hamilton Beach 3 in 1 griddle/grill to use for camping and ended up using it for the first time at home. I'm very disappointed! I'm currently cooking sausage links and I'm into a 25 minute time span of cooking. The manual states to cook on the griddle side at 350° for 8 - 12 minutes. I'm now at 425° and its finally cooking after a 25 - 30 minute time span. Once it gets to a correct cooking temperature it works great. I think the manual needs to be updated and maybe have someone actually cook something on it.do not buy for uk use, first of all you need a converter to change it to uk volts which would cost about £100+ because its 1400w its too expensive to even consider swapping, secondly I contacted the supplier Hamilton beach by phone they also said its for u.s use only we recommend you don't use in the uk, so why advertise on uk amazon, complete waste of money......La parrilla tiene sus puntos buenos y malos,A favor: calienta bastante bien y es facil regular la temperatura, tienen doble cara de plancha/parrilla y una parte donde gotea la grasa.En contra: la limpieza, si bien no es muy dificil quitar las piezas para lavar, se adhieren más de lo esperable para una parrilla con ¨antiadherente¨ (y todos mis utencilios de palas, cucharas etc.. que uso con la parrilla son antiadherentes)NO es non-stick, si no usas Pam, esto pasará con tus huevitos, pero era la mejor opción que tenía, no tengo cocina, y prefiero lavar esto, que tener sartenes y parrillaI have been using this grill for over two years now and I’m very happy with it. The top plates come up and go in easily. They wash very well in the dishwasher. The heat is consistent that is exactly what I needed. I’m very happy with us and I would recommend this for anybody.LA compre para tenerla cerca de la mesa del comedor y poder preparar alimentos y calentar quesadillas, tortillas, hamburguesas, carnes, tocino, chorizo, carne adobada, etc.
