Installation was easy and straight forward. After installation, component worked just as new. Smoked 2 briskets the next day, absolutely perfect.Product works great smoking jerkey once againI tried to smoke a pork butt and found myself continuously tripping the circuit. Had to switch to my grill for that quick solution. After research online I found if I replace the element it would likely resolve the issue, so for what I feel is a low cost risk, this is a very simple low-cost solution. This work perfectly for my problem, smoked a brisket on first smoke after an extensive cleaning and a successful repair. I would recommend this product for such an issue of tripping circuits.Had a Masterbuilt smoker Model 20070411 tripping GFCI after 1 minute of heating . Tested for bleed to ground non found. Also checked amp draw and voltage all ok . Confirmed it was definitely caused by the element by disconnecting 110 vac wiring from the heat element and direct wired to a extension cord with spade connectors and ground terminal to ground screw. Still tripped gfci same amt of time. This kit had all the parts it took to do a quality replacement job . I must say that Masterbuilt either by design or installation did a bone head job with the ground wire by routing it under the inside heat element white seal to the back wall off the cabinet inside the smoker. It distorts the seal by holding it away from the rear wall thus allowing all the grease/cleaner etc to leak between the seal and the back wall. What I did and should be done is to push /fish the ground wire into the area where the heat element wires come from in between the walls. Just route it along side either one of the wires for the element through the same grommet/opening. When the ground screw is run thru the center hole in the element mounting plate it can now be attached to the screw at the back thus allowing a proper fit and seal of the white seal to the inside wall. Same screw can be used . I did add a small flat washer and star washer /or star washer nut to ensure an improved ground connection between the element and the units ground wire. You are still providing a ground whether in side or on the back its the same screw connection.Was ez to get installed but removing the old one was a pain I've used it twice since installing it for a total of 20+ hoursThis matched up to my smoker perfectly and arrived quickly!Perfect replacement for master built smoker.
