Tried this out the first time last weekend. Smoked two spatchcock xl chickens so used two of the probes. Very accurate temps and connectivity during the cook. I put the block one of the side shelves of my Big Joe. Followed the instructions for pairing and all went as planned/expected. I verified the finish temps with my insta read thermometer and both birds with the neater probs were within 1 degree of the insta read I have always used. Being able to take notes of the cook in the app is awesome. I didn’t think it was that big of a deal but being able to document everything that went good/bad during the cook while fresh in my mind is invaluable. I had no connection issues during the 2 hour cook.
