I ordered this to use on my Blackstone pizza oven, and replace the original rotisserie motor.Reasons I chose this model over others on Amazon;- High weight capacity: Although the Blackstone rotation panel doesn’t come close to 50 lbs. - there’s no need to second guess oneself when getting a replacement. This should handle anything thrown at it.- Corded, not battery-powered: I really debated this idea, but I kept coming back to the idea that a 120v power supply is a much better and more consistent supply of power than two D batteries. Plus, we had forgotten to remove the batteries during the winter and one exploded, corroding the internals of the original motor - so I felt more comfortable going with a corded solution for now. Also for us, the oven and our grills are near a power outlet, so battery power wasn’t really much of a concern or deal breaker (as it may be for others).- Fits: accepts 5/16” square drive spit rods, and slips on to the 3” brackets (note though that most rotisseries are 3”). Just make sure it’s on, facing the right way. The power button should be facing out towards you so that the unit is fully attached and supported.- Steel parts: quality build. I need to open it up and check if the gears are steel too (a comment stated they were, but the poster wasn’t entirely sure), but I believe they are. The unit as a whole is steel and well built like a tank. I liked that there was an air gap too between the bracket plate and the actual unit that houses the motor which means further separation between heat and unit.- Price: it’s fair for what you get.Simply put; this just works for my needs and with my Blackstone pizza oven. Absolutely no issues and hopefully this review helps someone else out who finds themselves in a similar situation with their OEM Blackstone pizza oven motor.
