I broke one of the plastic prongs the first time I tried to remove it, which was difficult. It should still work until I break another piece.Bought this visor for my Dye I4 and by no means is it a perfect fit. I had to shave down the outer two pegs (rather modify a $20 visor than modify a $160 mask) in order for the visor to fit properly. Also its a bitch to remove, not something you can easily take on and off. That being said it does exactly what its supposed to. Keeps the sun out of your eyes and the rain off your mask while also providing a little extra forehead protection. Just wish dye would include a visor with their masks instead of having to use a modified after market visor.I have a Dye I4 mask, and I bought this item as protection for my very exposed forehead. It works, but it doesn't just "easily" fit as well as I thought it would have. I ended up curving the visor much like a baseball cap in order to get it on. I am also unable to remove the prongs(?) from where I originally place them. So if you're going to put it in, plan a little first. (phrasing)On the other hand I think it was well worth the purchase, it's sleek, feels nice (made of a synthetic rubber or something), and most importantly covers my forehead. Still need to wear a beanie, but my forehead is going to be free of welts. I have the Black/Gold, and its not nearly as shiny as it is in the picture, which was perfect.Minus one star for the fact that if I removed the visor, I'd break the prongs. Other than that, I'd buy it again.A complete pain in the ass to remove from my Vio. I only put it on when I absolutely need to and have no plans to take it off for a while. I will probably try trimming the peg tips a bit to help make it easier to remove.Other than that, it works. It does help to reduce the amount of light reflection you may get through the top vents on a sunny day and can help to keep the sun out of your eyes in general, if you move your head into the right position, without getting in the way of mobility or increasing your profile. Haven't had it eat any shots yet, so I can't speak on how well that works.Fit well on my virtue vio contour. This fits snug and doesn't have any gaps and worked really well with the stealth fan unit. The rubber/plastic mold feels delicate but it's definitely more sturdy than it looks. Took 2 direct shots to visit today and didn't even feel it.Only reason I'm giving 4 stars is it blocks upper field of view just slightly which wouldn't affect speedball on a level field but very Hilly woods ball can be a slight distraction. Also kinda difficult to remove to clean, once put on i strugled with it for 2-3 minutes while worrying that I may damage it or the mask trying to force it out.Well I've read the reviews about how you have to modify it to fit i4s and 5s and their right but it's a very small mod. You just cut the back prongs vertical half way up on the back half and trim off and that was it, less than 3 min. And it pushed right in to place, and it looks good nice and solid.A little pricey for what it is and it should have just come with the mask, but it works. More of a rubbery plastic than hard plastic. Great customer service!Seems like a great visor. Just a heads up though for you guys and gals looking for a visor for your Empire Evs goggles. This does not work. There isnt enough vent space for all the attachment pegs on the visor. So the middle 2 work fine, but the outer 2 need to be cut off... if that makes sense.
