The inner diameter of the 3 adaptors measures approx. – Small 6.5mm / 0.26 inch, Medium 8.0mm / 0.315 inch, Large 8.5mm / 0.334 inch

The interchangeable inner pieces are designed to fit a range of sizes and shapes found on grills. The chrome finish is very nice for chromed plastic and the rubber-like plastic band is textured and easy to grip. Although these are an all plastic part, it seems to be robust enough to not crack with repeated use over several grilling seasons. Time will tell, but first impressions are positive.My only quibble is that the arrow indicating the knob position is hard to see unless you are close to it. A contrasting pinstripe applied on top quickly corrects the visibility issue to you can see what position the knob is in from afar.The knob depth may be more shallow, or deeper, than your grill knobs. As a "universal" part, it hits the median and should work in many cases although it may not look like an OEM part. On my 3***ers grill, the OEM parts break where the knob connects to the steel stem controlling gas flow. These are much less expensive and I expect will last even longer than the original part.
