I've had this cover for about three weeks now and it has gone through one rainstorm. Water beaded up on the cover and the griddle stayed nice and dry. Wonderful! Haven't encountered any serious wind yet to determine how storm-proof it may be.The fabric appears to be of good quality and certainly has decent weight. Stitching looks very good. I expect durability at this point, but we'll see.Just a couple of complaints. First, the fit is very close. There's not a lot of maneuvering room. You need to be dead square to get the cover on. Another 3/4" inch of ease would have made things a lot better. Neither the cover for my Weber grill nor my Brinkmann smoker are anywhere near this tight. I may pull the tool hanger pegs off one of the shelves; I don't need 10.Second, I wish the hold down straps were reversed. There are two straps that go from front to back under the belly of the griddle to make sure the cover stays on. The long ends are on the front and the stubs with the clips are on the back. That means you have to get behind the griddle to fasten the straps, or get down on your hands and knees which I'm not doing. Not convenient if you have limited clearance behind the cooker and have to pull the griddle out to cover it. My work-around it to put the cover on "backwards". Much easier for me, but the Blackstone name is now against the wall and the Blackstone people are losing all of their PR.Not covering the full griddle . Corners are very tight. ( better to fold down sides, for a comfortable fit)I expected little more space for a comfortable fit.Material quality is good. As a manufacturer foe the primary item , I am sure they can do a lot more justification to this product, which is expected to increase the durability.This is a very nice cover. It has reenforced corners to keep the griddle corners from ripping it. Fits very well. I just wished that the retaining snaps were up higher so I didn't have to go under the griddle to secure it.Heavy duty fabric with reinforced corners at the wear spots. Clips attach under the grill so cover will never come off in a hurricane, and water still beads off after 3 months. Best grill cover I’ve ever owned.I bought this cover when I first purchased my Blackstone griddle 3 years ago. It lasted that long without much issue until this year where the seam started to tear apart. The fabric had not faded to gray either! I also have the diamond plate cover and this soft cover fits the griddle with the diamond plate cover in place as well.We just got this this summer. We live in the PWN so we will see how it does over winter. Easy to get on and off. Nice fit over the griddle.This looks like good quality and it was a fair price. Hoping this works well to protect our new Blackstone, especially since this was a luxury purchase for us. Want to protect it! Not sure if it’s waterproof, water resistant or how durable it is yet.Simple to set up, take down. Covers what needs to be covered... could be a little longer, but still good.Product itself is great, the bad part was the support I received. Bought for $59.99 a week ago and now it’s $53.00 and I asked for a difference in the amounts and was refused. I even stated it’s better to offer the difference back then me order another one at $53 then return the $59 one… still refused. Not a large amount but still not a good experience considering it’s been a week. Just bewareWhoever answered that this fits the 1863 has serious vision issues. It's a very poor fit without having to switch the side shelves to a vertical position. It was clearly only meant for the older 1554 model.Fit perfectly, and seems very sturdy. Has straps to secure it, but it’s heavy enough and fits well, so I haven’t felt the need to strap it down.Very pleased with purchase.Cover fits the 36" well.One complaint is the straps seem backwards. The long end is at the front (logo side) and one must reach around to the back to click into the other end. Would make more practical sense to grab the long strap from the rear and bring around to the front. To simplify fastening the cover, the logo is now at the rear of the u it.Haven't had any moisture since receiving the cover so can't say how it'll stand up to snow/rain.I like to entertain on the patio and with only a BBQ I was limited and had to run back and forth to the kitchen. The Blackstone griddle gives me the opportunity to prepare the goodies that accompany steaks and chicken. I can now cook all the extras at one place while socializing uninterrupted. The Blackstone griddle cover affords me the protection of my new investment.
