The D-Ring mounts are bolted into place for strength.Textured black powder coating for durability and long lasting corrosion resistance.E-Coating Process. E-coat systems can deliver a wide range of lacquer and paint finishes with a combination of state-of-the-art performance and decorative effects. The bumpers can last for 100 hours during the salt spray test which is equivalently to have a 5-year corrosion capacity. The product percent of pass reaches 100% after the salt spray test.Bolt-On Installation. u-Box engineered their Grille Guard and Bumper to be a direct bolt-on replacement for the original stock grille and bumper reusing the factory mounting points. Regarding the Windshield Frame Cover, it requires some drilling for the safe removal of the two metal panels on the cowl. Using a ¼” drill bit, drill out the eight spot welds which fix the side cowl panels.
