My wife and I purchased a new Weber Spirit grill this fall and started getting concerned as the weather turned towards cold. Since we live in a condo and the grill lives on our deck we really didn't have many options to protect our grill from the elements aside from simply covering it. The Spirit series are pretty small and we couldn't really find anything locally that would cover the grill. So we had to search online and ultimately decided to go with the Weber brand cover for our Weber grill.Our grill has two fold down shelves on the sides, that I typically like to leave in the down position unless I'm actually grilling. However I quickly determined that I was going to need to keep them up if I wanted the cover to stay on. There are two velcro straps on either side of the cover that only really snug the cover down if you use them under the extended shelves. If you keep the shelves down and then put on this cover it will be very baggy and the straps just won't feel all that secure.The cover itself seems pretty decent quality. Much better than a cheap grill cover I purchased a few years back for a different grill. I am hoping from the quality feel of this cover and the decent backing it has that it will survive at least 3-5 Minnesota winters before I need to be concerned about it. All in all I'm pretty happy with this cover, it fits my grill perfectly (I'd be worried if Weber covers didn't fit the grill they were designed for) and it feels like a good quality product.
