This was very easy to install. As you can see from the pics in the product specs the upper piece has a bracket on it that aligns with the existing mounting holes on my suburban. The lower piece I figured out after a few minutes - you simply have to carefully push the piece into place and the clips on the grill will click into place. A very snug fit. I am not disappointed. FYI - the grille is wrapped with a protective plastic, then bagged, then boxed. Mine was in great condition unlike the other guys post that received damaged goods. Make sure you save the chevy emblem from the original grille as it is needed to hold the new chevy emblem in place. The one shown in this pic is just a holder for the cover plate.
