I bought this based on dimensions to use for making baklava. Have purchased numerous other stainless pans from Amazon with good results, sturdy, fairly thick stainless etc. Not this one. I have not put a micrometer to this but I am guessing 0.4MM thickness of the metal, possibly less. The edging shown in the seller's pictures is far better than the quality of what was received, edge is not rolled or finished to any high degree. Also, it appears that the manufacturer uses stainless steel that is already coated with very thin plastic film, then stamps and folds the edges trapping the plastic film. Took a good 10 minutes to peel off as much as possible and even then there are still segments trapped under the fold of the under edge of the rim that are going to melt when this is used. Would not recommend this pan to anyone for cooking or baking and would say it is marginal even to display or carry food.
