using this in an old Q140 grill and this works as good if not better than the original OEM product, but at about 1/2 the cost. Element heats up nicely.The OEM has a 2 year warranty, and my last element that I bought through Weber burned out just before the 2 years was up and they replaced it for free under warranty. I don't see any warranty information on this product, and I just sent of a note to STANBROIL asking for warranty information. So, while I give it 4 **** now for the lack of any warranty info, (I couldn't find anything on the company website either) and that may change if it fails in the next 2 years. Delivery was fast and it arrived in good condition. Had no issues doing the install.I give it 4 stars. It works fine but it's not a perfect fit in my Q2400. I had replaced the original heating element with an element from Weber and it fit perfectly. The Stanbroil required me to bend the bottom heat shield out of the way because I could not install it otherwise. But after 1/2 hour or so I got it installed. It cooks normally although I'm not certain that it gets as red hot as the Weber heating element. Overall, good but not perfect.This element worked great. I give 5 starts for quick delivery and half the price from weber. Fyi my old element had a partial short to ground causing the gfi to trip. If you gfi trips using the grill check the resistance to ground if not this most likely cause of it tripping. The controller for the electric grill is very expensive so check for the ground problem on the element before you buy the controller.Quick shipment, works great. Pretty simple to install.Easy to repair. Saved lots of money not having to buy a new grill.Remove two screws, pull out the old, slide in the new, screw two screws.Perfect fit. Works as advertised.OEM replacement grill is very difficult to obtain. I bought this grill instead and up to now (about 8 uses) is works as the original one.
