My old Kamado ash rake got bent to the point of being unusable. This one was available, so I bought it. I would have given it 5 stars except that my original rake had two useful ends, the second end was a grill rack lifter. This one has only the rake end. But it works for it's purpose.Received broken out of the package. Description states it is non-welded but it sure looks like a faulty weld. I have requested a refund and will buy another brand.Work good specially in tight hard to get to areasI never got around to using it bc it broke into 3 piecesDoes the job. However the two pieces don’t stay to heather very well and constantly come looseI have had a BGE for a long time and my BGE brand ash removal tool finally gave out. I needed another and wanted to save some money so I bought this. Whoever designed having this be a two piece item that screws together should be fired! Obviously this tool also gets used to stir the old coals to get the ash out and stir coals after they start to heat. Well because some genius decided to have the two sections screw together, ever time you stir coals the screw loosens and you have to screw it back in. Well after just 4 months of use now the screw stripped and the tool is in two pieces and worthless. I should have paid a little more and bought a better built product. Don’t make the same mistake and buy this junk unless they make it a one piece item. I do think they did a good job at having a better built end to the tool, but the two sections is stupid.good quality works wellNever used. Product broke while assembling. Poor tack welds. Would never buy again.
