Like others have said, the assembly book is lacking. The companion YouTube video is definitely helpful, but ended up being irritating as well, because none of the parts fit together easily. I believe this is because of the condition my Signet arrived in. The box looked fine, but there were multiple QA failures regarding the components themselves.1. Back left mounting face bent. (pictured)2. Right door pin is flush, due to the whole plastic attachment itself barely hanging on to the door. Need new right door. (pictured)3. Drip tray slider had a freaking 45° bend in it. Took awhile to get it straight enough for it to align into its slot, but I got it.4. "Use your body weight to insert the caster wheels". I'm 6'5, 285 - those wheels required much more effort than my body weight, I'll just put it that way. Used IPA and still had difficulties. This is my first non-junk-level grill, and my hopes are high that the reviews I saw were right to praise this entry-level Broil King. My guess is that the low price has reared its head on the assembly portion, but that the cook quality will be outstanding.I will re-score my review dependant on Broil King's handling of my QA complaints. Score for now is 3 stars.UPDATE 24AUG17Amazon immediately refunded me 50 dollars due to the door issue, which was nice. The process for contacting OMC and getting a replacement door sent to me was quite painless, maybe a 5 minute phone call. They did not automatically send me any shipping updates on the replacement door. I ended up having to call OMC back a day or two later and ask for a shipping tracking number, which was provided with no hassle. I would have liked to have been provided the tracking information automatically, as soon as the part was shipped. The door took about 10 days to arrive, and was in good condition.Meanwhile, I've been grilling almost every evening, and I love this grill. The price to performance/features feels right to me. This is their entry-level offering, so the features that Broil King compromise on - surface area for holding plates and what-not, cabinet space, the plastic casters and wheels - feel like the correct thing to compromise on. This grill gets very hot, and the cookbox and other core components feel good to me. After a couple of cooks, I went ahead and purchased GrillGrates and did a full replacement of the cast iron grates that come with this grill. I can now hit temps of almost 1050 on the GrillGrates. This is powerful grill, IMHO. I feel like this grill is a beast for how much it cost. I can't recommend it enough. Wholeheartedly recommend! This is probably the finest cooking Grill that I have owned since the eighties (the original Weber three burner grills.) The new Webers just aren't that great and don't hold up.Construction of the grill is excellent, the only drawback could be the base that is plastic instead of metal, we'll see how that holds up. I believe that this grill should last at least 10 years, it is really that well built! Heats up and maintains the heat, it does take some adjusting to the heat that it produces. I also like the rotisserie burner for roasts and chicken. It produces enough heat to properly cook on the spit without taking all day. Spend a little more and buy a grill that will last you'll be glad you did in a couple of years. Best of all it is made in North America (US and Canada) unlike almost all of the other grills. The lid and one of the shelf units were damaged in shipment, I called the factory and they replaced both items no questions asked and I had the new pieces within a week.UPDATEReplaced the Burners, Flavor Bars, the Rails that distribute the gas to the Burners and the Rotisserie Burner last year. Now the Drip reflector and the rails it sits on are shot. No replacement parts anywhere including the Factory. This is during owning it 4 years. I barbecue a lot and clean a lot. Barbecue always covered. Too much pot metal inside the Fire Box.Arrived on time , did not have to sign for it from UPS. Waited a couple days before having time to assemble it. Upon assembly I noticed a hole punched in the side of the box about the size of a fork lift fork. The box holding the cast iron grates was lightly dented, upon opening one grate was broken. Further unpacking showed the base (plastic) had a number of small damaged areas, the back of the lower aluminum casting was dented in about 3/16" . The left hand side extension metal portion was caved in too. There were NO assembly instructions or User Manual with it.I assembled the unit which is very simple even without a guide to follow. I straightened the damaged casting with a pair of clamps and a 2x4. slow gentle pressure pushed it back into its correct position.I will be contacting the vendor on Monday to see how they wish to handle the problem items. I want a new base,a grate and a left extension shipped to me, I do not wish to send the complete grille back, we will see how this evolves.I will update this review when the damage issue is resolved.I spent a while trying to decide between Broil King and Weber, I finally bought this because I couldn't resist the price per feature ratio and have owned it for about a month. I've done regular grilling as well as a roast and some chickens on the rotisserie. The dedicated burner really helps with the rotisserie over the add on kit that I used with a previous grill. It's also capable of getting plenty hot with decent control. The Bad: There were a couple of parts that came broken/defective. I've emailed the customer service email listed on their website a couple of times over the last 8 days. I've received an automated reply saying that someone will reply but nothing yet. I also own a charcoal Weber grill and when I needed a part for it, their customer service replied within a few hours telling me they've sent the part which arrived 2 days later. That's making me second guess my decision to choose this brand. I've also had the door alignment issues that others have mentioned. I've been able to correct it for the most part by loosening the cabinet screws, holding the doors straight and re-tightening them. It's a pain to do and still not perfect, but much closer. I may try again to get it perfect after I (hopefully) get the replacement parts.Bought this as a gift to replace a Masterforge BBQ that I gave as a gift and rusted out after 2 years.I have the same model that is going strong after 8 years - one burner replaced during that time - and burners have a 10 year warranty now (possibly pro-rated - not sure). Canadian made and parts are available from multiple vendors.Cooks evenly and well made.EDIT: when we assembled the BBQ we found a broken grate, bent shelf and broken door. The shipper Amazon used did not handle the BBQ with any sort of care. It had to have been dropped at least once to break a cast iron grate into 7 pieces. Very frustrating. Broil King replaced the broken parts, although it did take almost 3 weeks to get them to us. Multiple emails and phone calls to Broil King, but they did take care of the damage. Hopefully Amazon will look into the problem I ran into.Purchased this BBQ four years ago and it is still going strong. We cook outdoors all year long, from hot, humid days to freezing winter nights, the Signet 90 does a great job. It has the features we were looking for, including side burner and rotisserie. We cook for large numbers of guests, but as the kids have moved out, we find using just one or two burners to grill a hamburger to a stteak is all we need. Outside of normal weathering due to sun, heat and cold, the BBQ has been the best we've owned. Will definitely buy another Signet, certianly a Broil King, if we ever need to.Was actually easier to assemble than I thought it would be. All the pieces and parts were there. It is compact, well engineered and has everything you need. The instructions are in pictures so you have to just look at it for a minute to understand. I thought for a bit there was a missing part but it was just a cut out of the drawing of a larger piece so you could understand the details. Very few screws and all the holes lined up which was good. The rotisserie is one of the best setups I have seen. Has the counter weight. Best thing is to youtube the product and some guy gives a good demo of how to do everything. The youtube vid was one of the reasons I decided to buy this model. Had a good rating pretty much everywhere I looked online.my second Broil King - first lasted almost 20 yr. Have used several times and am very pleased. a couple issues (not fatal) on assembly and I would like to be able to reduce the heat from the rotisserie burner a bit lower. pay attention to the drip pan - should be a bit bigger but works okWe have one of these BBQ's ourselves and it is our favorite! the best there is for that price range. So when I was asked to organize getting a BBQ from the family for my nephew's wedding gift, this is the one we went for. We looked for lots in the stores but nothing compares to this one! We love it and so do they!!
