The grill extender comes as described. I piece per order. The picture serves to show that you can stack many of them. It is pricey for a single rack, but the grill itself is pricey. It is well made, does what it is intended to do and I use mine all of the time. It maximizes the cooking volume and allows the cook to do many things simultaneously in an organized way. I am stunned by reviewers who fail to read a description, only look at a picture and then give 2 stars. A product is not devalued by a customer's carelessness? If you want more cooking area, buy this extender.
