I have a Traeger Ironwood 885 grill. My main complaint is that I could not sear with the standard grill grate that the unit came with the grill. I saw these grills and I wanted to give them a try. The fit on the grill grates is absolutely perfect. I have done three cooks on my new grates since the time of purchase. My first cook was quarter pound hotdogs and it was absolutely amazing. The dogs had grill marks all over them. They were nice and brown and turned out perfectly. I did two 20 ounce porterhouse steaks for my next cook. I set the grill at 500° cooked the steaks six minutes on each side had fantastic Grill marks on both sides of the steak. The meat was absolutely tremendous. My last cook tonight was half pound hamburgers. I use 93% ground beef cooked at 500° for six minutes on each side turned out perfectly. Searing them caused the juice just to flow out when you bite into the hamburger. This has been the best addition to my Traeger Ironwood that I have purchased. I have over 300 cooks on my grill and I cannot emphasize how nice this has been and what an improvement to the overall quality of my barbecue. I highly recommend this product.
