The griddle is heavy. Heat distribution is good but not perfect but that's fine because I like to have a little less heat at the sides to put meat that needs a little less heat. Gas controls are great, start every time, and the flame is visible through the front of the grill, easing adjustment. Grill is light and wheels easily so the wheel locks are useful. The accessory hooks are handy but I wish they could be mounted a few inches higher. I've been using the grill regularly and I'm very glad I bought it.First of all I have only had this for a few hours and have assembled it. I just want to let people know that this delivery was fine, no damage to box and no dents or damage to anything inside. There was no rust anywhere on the griddle, grates, frame. Either I got lucky or they have made an effort to correct the problems others have encountered. Assemble was easy, but not as quick as others (Sunday football). I was surprised that every type of hardware needed to build came with one extra screw, nut, etc. When I get this up and running I will update this review. So far so good.So far so good, had this unit for a few monthsIt arrived damaged like so many others statedI complained and got a good discount because I really didn't want to ship it backIt works good and does everything it should but would be much better with a lid at least on the grill but even on the griddle as wellIm going to look into aftermarket lids and will update this if i find a good fitOnly complaint is no lid after years of a Weber have to learn how to cook again! Unit was easy to assemble and seems to cook with even heat. Nice to have both cooktops too!I use the griddle a lot, ended up getting a little heat dome to aid in cooking some things without a normal grill lid. A couple of screws in the assembly are difficult to access.Anything food you can think of , you can cook to perfection….. even soup!This grill/griddle is exactly what I thought it would be. Easy to assemble, less than 30 minutes with only a screwdriver. Package came from Amazon in great condition and product inside was without blemish and complete. Grill and griddle both fired up on the first try for the burn off. Currently very happy with the purchase. First cook on the griddle side was a couple of steaks and the seer was legendary. The only thing I would change is the size of the casters… I have a paver patio and it’s not easy to roll this unit across them. That however is not a reason to avoid this product. Very good buy for the money..Great product easy to set up land use
