We bought this grill to use over our 42" round fire pit. We put a brick under each corner to raise it & it works perfectly. Another reviewer wrote his "melted" first time it was used but we have not had any problems. Maybe he used over a bonfire & not just the hot embers??? So far have cooked steaks & burgers (love the smoked oak flavor!) and can't wait to try more. Good quality materials & well made---definitely a five star product.
