This press never worked from the start. It gets to 235 degrees and never hotter. Emailed customer service 3 times and never received a response. You should expect more from something that is almost $1,000.In September of 2015, we purchased this panini grill for our small business. Since then the plastic handle on the left side of the grill has fallen off. Not even a full 3 months into use and it is already falling apart. I have tried to opt for a replacement via Amazon, but the process is stating it is too late for any returns. You would think something like this would be backed with a year warranty. We have had other panini grills and were looking forward to this one being a dependable grill, however the handle that keeps you from burning your hand has already fallen off.We are having trouble with the right side grill top staying tight so it does not smash the bread we put on the grill. We have tightened it numerous times but there must be something more we can do, help please!!Hi! We need some help because the right side of the grill is not heating up (if you are looking it from the front). We would like to have a replacement cuz it also is looking kind of oxidized and we are doing all the cleaning after using it the way it explains in the instructions.Ordered two of same item. One was wrong item and other was damaged.okNot even three months old and the switch to turn the left side broke and we had to cut the plastic off to use it, then the right. Then the switch came off completely and (just outside their pathetic warranty of course) the entire switch came off. I bought this because Waring had a good reputation. What a waste of money. Don't bother.The description says the product is flat grill. It has a furrow in the picture. I want flat one. Is the item that I ordered flat one?
