We bought this accessory to grill outside. It’s great and compact and the grill plate is amazing. Instructions for care are included. It needs to be heated and then treated with flaxseed oil before using but it’s an amazing piece to the solo stove.missing parts in the order, never received Solo Stove Large Cast Iron Grill Top,This Solo Fire Pit was purchased in advance of a hunt in the Maine north woods. A member of the party is sensitive to wood smoke. I have a lot of experience cooking over an open fire, but a smokeless fire pit is different, and I wanted to get in some practice before the trip. We invited out neighbors over and roasted hotdogs and marshmallows last night. There is some smoke, as expected, on start-up but once the fire is going, the smoke is negligible and was tolerated well by our smoke-sensitive party member. This is the 19.5-inch Bonfire model and was perfect for the four of us sitting around it. We sat outside for several hours cooking our supper and chatting. All that was left was a little fine ash in the ash pan. I will be seasoning the grill in the coming weeks and making a number of meals outside to make sure I have my smokeless firepit cooking skills in place prior to our trip. The long forks worked very well, and the carry handle purchased separately is genious, so I would recommend them also.
